Tiny Dancer

Madeline started ballet two weeks ago and is learning so much. At home she practices her ballerina walk, her arabesques, and "tap tap curtsey" for teacher. It's a 'mommy and me' class, so I get to do all of the steps with her. But I'd be happy just seeing her in this adorable getup every week.

Connecticut Trip

The new iphones have an annoying bug that imports images upside down (in the future I'll hold the camera upside down to get a right-side-up picture). In short, we went to Connecticut for Palm Sunday and the kids had a blast, especially Patrick who discovered pirate treasure on the beach!

Easter Fun

Little Slugger

Patrick had his first T-Ball practice last Saturday at Beach Park. The kids did all kinds of drills, including standing in a circle and throwing balls at a bucket. Patrick hit the bucket the first time! He had some great "at bats" too.

Bedtime Buddies

Patrick and Madeline stretch bedtime as long as humanly possible with stories, the "tickle game," songs, and my favorite, "let's talk about our day." We always get an earful. Tonight Madeline was full of stories about her trip to the park, and Patrick told me he wants to be a "dinosaur bone digger" when he grows up.
