Fall Soccer

Patrick did Alexandria soccer this fall, which was a little more intense than the fun Fridays at Beach Park last year; he had practice and a game each week. He did a great job in the games, scoring many goals for the Mount Vernon Bats and greatly improved his teamwork skills. I had to up my game in the snack department as this league does a team snack each week. I found myself preparing my very first bag of orange slices, which to my delight were completely gone by the end of today's game. Orange slices at a Saturday soccer game. This is the big time.

Pumpkin Pickin' 2012

The goat village was something new (to us) this year, but everything else at Cox Farms was the full-on fall fun we have come to love: slides, hayrides, animals, kettle corn, and of course, pumpkin picking. This year we brought a special guest, Gran T, who also seemed to have a very good time.

Fall Festival

This year the pumpkin patch came to Abra in the form of Squeals on Wheels, a mobile petting zoo. Tinkerbell the pony was a huge hit. Madeline took five rides!

The Scarecrow

Abra needed a scarecrow for the Fall Festival and so the whole family pitched in.

Just Hanging Around

Patrick and Madeline discovered this new trick at the playground the other day.
