The A Team

 

Patrick wowed us yesterday at his first A meet with a third place in free and competing with the 15-18 year olds by swimming backstroke in the medley relay. The announcer made a special announcement noting Patrick's age, and Donald snapped a hilarious picture of him with "teammates." The biggest win for me was seeing him have a blast with the team playing sharks and minnows all afternoon.

Playoff Pals

We lost the city championship in a heartbreaker of a game, but it's been a terrific season! Patrick has been the closing pitcher and had some amazing hits too, including a triple on Sunday that brought 3 runners home. We'll get 'em next year.

Kindergarten Celebration

Our sweet kindergartner is now a First Grader! Madeline won the "Winderful Writer" award. We are so proud!!!!

Welcome Summer!

Day 1 of Summer saw the kids' first swim meet and a win for Patrick in the 25m freestyle. Madeline was nervous but we were so proud of her for finishing the race!
