Birthday Girl
Three hundred and sixty five days ago a sweet ray of sunshine came into our lives, and we were so happy to bounce on Friday—and all weekend—in celebration of Madeline's big day. At one point on Friday I think every kid at the play group was inside the bounce house, and all seemed to be having a wonderful time. We were certainly having a wonderful time watching them. On Saturday Cousin Soph, dressed as a beautiful princess mermaid, joined us for a slightly lower-key family celebration and lots more bouncing with Colton, who spent the weekend looking for, talking about, and playing with balls. Clearly he and Patrick are related! Madeline seemed to enjoy it all, especially the moon bounce slide, the chicken gratin casserole, and the chocolate cake, which she ate with a spoon and was very reluctant to relinquish. It was a special weekend and we were grateful that Gran T, Aunt Whitney, Cousin Colton, and Grammy and Grandaddy Krause were able to share in the celebration.

Great pics! We had such a fun time! Looking forward to seeing you again for Thanksgiving! Colton is especially hoping for good weather so he can play in the moonbounce again :-)
